Angels Part II

Contacts

Ariel sits patiently on the optometrist chair, while Doctor Wong writes out a prescription.

The doctor asks, “So are you in school?”

Ariel nods her head, “I’m a Sophomore.”

“Kind of hard to read the board at school, isn’t it?”

“Yeah. Everything’s all fuzzy.”

“Well, hopefully, this will solve everything.”

“Thank you.”

”There you go. Now, all you have to do is give this to the receptionist,” explains the doctor.

Ariel leaves the room. Dr. Wong watches her and peers over his own glasses. The figures seen through his eyes are very blurry. Though through the blurriness, other shapes form. Circles of light flick around in his vision. There is a large concentration of them around Ariel. The circles of light condense together to form a mouth and a hand, in which they blow a kiss towards the doctor. Dr. Wong replaces his glasses back normally on his nose. The scene is normal again, clear and flawless. Dr.Wong smiles.
